Value-add Marketing Pays off… BIG!
We may sound like a broken record, but value-add marketing works. A great example is what the 101 year-old Walh electric hair trimmer company did. As AdWeek reported:
Almost overnight, what had begun as a simple website upgrade became a major marketing engine for the brand. Since mid-March, traffic to Wahl’s site, where the videos live, has skyrocketed by 1,400%. Consumers watched the step-by-step instructional video on how to do an easy cut, a business cut, a fade and a brush cut, among others.
SAIPR helped the Percy apprentice training school do something similar. We created a construction-based reality show that made the construction trades cool, promoted the sponsor companies and which could be played at tradeshows. It got 50K views and over 500 subscribers. The featured companies promoted it as well!
At times like these, giving customers a little helpful advice matters. Give a little and you may get a lot.
